Hello! My name is Veronica Pascarella, and I am an aspiring higher education teacher. Currently completing my Masters in Educational and Counselling Psychology at McGill University, I hold a Bachelor of Education degree in Kindergarten and Elementary Education, with a specialization in science education. My ultimate career oriented goal is to teach within the higher education realm and to eventually be a part of the administrative staff. In the near future, I wish to continue my research on student success in high school and elementary education - specifically related to science, and to begin my teaching career. While teaching, I plan on being highly involved in the world of extracurricular activities, as I believe a healthy teacher-student relationship in and around the classroom is vital for the success, safety and comfort of the students and staff.
The giving tree
This was a project completed during my final field experience with a grade 1 class - Students were to trace and cut out their hands and write one thing they are thankful for on the. We then put them all together to make our class tree (Chocolate was very popular in this classroom!).
